Yulia and Yelena immigrated from Russia five years ago with their mother, Ella, their brother Sasha, now 14, and their grandmother. A family friend said it was the girls who pressed for the family to immigrate to Israel. Yulia was a student at Miftan Alon. Yelena graduated from Shevah high school and planned to continue her studies. Friends said the girls loved dancing and going out. Yulia and Yelena are survived by their brother, Sasha, as well as their mother and father, who still resides in Russia. They were buried in the Yarkon cemetery in Tel-Aviv. |
