Irena Usachev

Irena Usachev, an only child, immigrated to Israel with her mother from the Ukraine four years ago, when her parents separated. She celebrated her 18th birthday just a week ago.

Irena was an 11th-grader at Holon's Herzog high school and also worked after school. School principal Ruti Tendler said Irena was a remarkably industrious, intelligent girl, who had chosen a difficult course of study in Russian language and literature.

Irena was buried in the Yarkon cemetery in Tel-Aviv.
